Parade of Trees in Spring Park

Walk through a holiday wonderland as Spring Park glows with 225 lit Christmas Trees every night until 10 pm from now through December 31, 2024. Each tree is decorated by families, organizations, or local businesses, and many are dedicated to loved ones. Parade of Trees is free and open to the public. Don’t miss this Green Cove Springs Christmas tradition and community display!

Christmas on Walnut Street Festival

Saturday, December 7, noon -9 pm – The annual Christmas on Walnut Street Festival is held on the first Saturday of December in Green Cove Springs FL! There are many food and craft vendors, a kids’ zone, and live entertainment. The afternoon begins with a visit from Santa at his workshop (organized by the GCS Elks Lodge Number 1892) in the Spring Park pool pavilion where he spends a few hours hearing all the kids’ wish lists! The day concludes with a 1-mile Jingle Bell Fun Run organized by the Florida Striders and a beautiful night Christmas Parade organized by the Green Cove Springs Business League, right down Highway 17! This city-wide Christmas tradition is something you don’t want to miss!

Cocoa and Carols: Concert on the Green

Friday, December 13, 5 – 8:30 pm – Come join us for a cozy evening of cocoa and carols at the corner of East Kingsley & River Road (behind Moosehaven)! Free parking at Moosehaven, and complimentary trolleys will take you to the River, where you can hop off, walk along River Road… enjoying the sounds of the season- featuring our own Clay County Students performing on 5 stages!

Get into the holiday spirit with delicious hot cocoa, and sing along to your favorite Christmas tunes. This in-person event is the perfect way to enjoy the festive season with friends and family. Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to spread joy and cheer together! Also Enjoy – Delicious Food Trucks, crafty vendors, and Free Photo Souvenirs from the Cocoa & Carols VW Bus!
