Born 1933 in upstate New York, Charlie Lusk earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from New York State College for Teachers (now SUNY, NY) .

He entered USN Flight School  in 1954, and earned his US Navy Wings of Gold in April of 1956. Lusk was assigned to various Fighter Squadrons for next 10 years.  He also earned an MS in Chemistry from USN Postgraduate School in 1963.

Lusk served as Commanding Officer of Training Squadron 25 1970/71.  He retired from the United States Navy in 1980 with 4,000 flight hours, 720 carrier landings, 150 combat missions, and eight Air Medals. He also taught Navy Junior ROTC at Orange Park High school until 1998.

Now fully retired, Lusk enjoys traveling, golf, bridge, and volunteering – including serving as a Trustee for TSCOOP.
