Originally from Missouri, Connie Eden has lived in Clay County since 1990. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master’s degree in Health Rducation. She taught high school for eight years and then started moving around the country (and Mexico) with her husband and three daughters.

Since moving to Clay County, Eden hasvolunteered in many places. She serves on the TSCOOP board and teaches chair yoga to TSCOOP members.

In addition, Eden teaches the Bible at her church’s camp every summer, volunteers at the local food pantry, serves as Second Vice President of the Orange Park Women’s Club, subsitute teaches Sunday Schoolat her church as needed, and is Co-Chair of two organizations at her church.  She also volunteers at the Thrasher Horne and is involved in the Emmaus community, working in various positions and giving talks.
