SCOOP gets you out and doing things. You are never too old to learn something. The classes like Clay History tells me about where I live but never knew. So much fun and a great place to meet and make friends.

The members are great people who enjoy and love living a full life. The classes and instructors are really good for strengthening our bodies and minds. It’s really a wonderful organization.
I attend Adventures in Learning to have a social spot and to learn new skills. It’s nice to go to classes where your skill level is irrelevant. It’s a friendly safe environment.
I love attending so many of the classes – anything with Marty Meyer, Rock ‘n Roll, Jane Malcolm’s, Pennies from Heaven (canasta), Viski’s Clay History classes, Kate Riggs’ gallivanting class, and chair exercise.
I like the social aspect of visiting with friends, learning new skills, and I enjoy the exercise classes. They make me feel happier and keep me connected with the community.
I enjoy coming to the classes. Very well organized and run. Fun subjects all the time mixed with serious discussions. Love it all!
I’ve really enjoyed classes here for the past several years, you get to meet new people, move your body and most important, learn new things!
I attend for the people and for the crafts, to socialize, to be with friends and broaden my horizons.
I started taking classes with the Shepherd Center to learn new things and meet new people. I have enjoyed all of the classes I have taken.
I attend because many, many nice people stumble in most Monday mornings and I enjoy commiserating with them. Also, I learn many new things!
