The Golden Years Gala Planning Committee is starting the planning for our 2024 Gala. The Gala is our major fundraiser for the year! We are looking for volunteers to serve on the committee. Possible areas to help are: getting nominations for the awards, soliciting auction items, soliciting sponsors and donations, help with paperwork and clerical items. Office Volunteers: Volunteers are needed to answer the phones and do other administrative work on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9am – noon. You will probably not be busy the whole time so bring a book or project to work on. Training would be on a Tuesday or Thursday. You may sign up for one day a month or multiple days. Contact Christy if you are interested.
Data Entry: A volunteer is needed to enter registrations into our database. This would be a once a week activity (2-3 hours) a week for the months prior to the start of our Adventures in Learning sessions (December, March, June, and September) Training to take place in November or December and should take 2-3 hours. This job may be done in the office or from your home. Must have a working email address. Contact Christy if interested in this position.
